To fund, test and advance highly sybil-resilient, public good, privacy-preserving, decentralized, open and inclusive Proof of Personhood concepts and solutions on Kusama.
A future where every human can credibly prove their unique personhood online, without surveillance, without revealing their identity or behavior; unlocking fair access, legitimate coordination, and personal freedom.
Proposed solutions must prioritize humans. Proof of Personhood exists to empower people, not to promote surveillance or control.
Privacy preserving approaches are mandatory. Proposals must avoid biometric databases, forced deanonymization, or irreversible identity leakage.
The goal is to prove that a person is present only once per context. No sockpuppets. Proposals should clearly demonstrate resistance to Sybil attacks.
Participation should be intentional. Proposals should include reasonable protections against identity farming and coercion.
All designs rely on assumptions. These should be stated explicitly and treated as testable, not hidden. Claims about security, privacy, scalability and/or adoption should be supported by reasoning, evidence, or clear caveats.
Applications have different requirements with regard to universality of PoP. Proposals should define the kinds of applications they target.
Participants agree to engage respectfully and constructively with curators, advisors, and any other members involved. Disagreement is expected; misrepresentation, harassment, and governance manipulation is not.
